Matt Carlstedt

Matt is responsible for investment strategy, deal origination, capital relationships, and asset business plan oversight across all MSC transactions. Prior to founding Mile Square Capital, Matt served as a lead partner at Citimark, where he was responsible for building and leading the investment platform. In that role, Matt originated acquisitions and development opportunities, structured and capitalized projects across the capital stack, and oversaw business plan execution from acquisition through disposition. During his tenure, Citimark expanded into markets throughout the Midwest and Southeast, completing transactions representing approximately $600 million in total capitalization.

Prior to Citimark, Matt was director of Investments for Browning Investments where he participated in the acquisition, development, and capital market functions of the company. Before Browning, Matt was a partner with CBRE Indianapolis investment properties team assisting clients in the disposition of industrial, office, and retail properties.

Matt earned a B.S. degree in Finance and Management from Xavier University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame
